Role Overview
Ryan Owen Associates is exclusively recruiting for a Head of FP&A position for a rapidly expanding international consumer products company based in Singapore. This pivotal leadership role encompasses supporting regional operations and the global supply chain finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and monthly performance evaluations.
- Create comprehensive financial models and scenario analyses to guide strategic and operational decisions.
- Enhance forecasting accuracy while delivering transparent insight into business risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Simplify complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Prepare in-depth management reports, business reviews, and executive presentations.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, and Logistics.
- Analyze financial metrics related to product costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory, freight, logistics expenses, working capital, and capital expenditures.
- Support initiatives to reduce costs, inform sourcing choices, optimize operations, and drive supply chain transformations.
- Develop effective KPIs and enhance visibility of financial and operational performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the FP&A team.
- Enhance planning, reporting, analytics, and finance business partnership functions to support organizational growth.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience with leadership roles in FP&A.
- Extensive expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Proven background involving supply chain, operations, or manufacturing finance domains.
- Experience in the consumer products sector, manufacturing, or supply-chain intensive businesses.
- In-depth knowledge of P&L management, product costing, COGS, inventory management, working capital, and investment analysis.
- Strong capability to partner with and influence senior finance and non-finance stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent financial modeling, analytical skills, and competence in executive-level presentations.
- Prior experience managing and developing teams.
- Preferably holds a recognized professional accounting or finance qualification.
- Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Power BI, or other financial planning and reporting systems is advantageous.
