About the Role
Join a fast-growing private equity-backed investment firm based in Dublin as a Group Financial Accountant. This position offers excellent growth opportunities within a dynamic and acquisitive organisation where you will be integral to group financial reporting, technical accounting, corporate transactions, and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
- Assist in preparing statutory financial statements compliant with IFRS.
- Lead the group consolidation and month-end reporting processes.
- Prepare detailed technical accounting documentation and assist with the adoption of new accounting standards.
- Provide support for acquisitions, disposals, and integration of acquired companies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
- Develop Board and investor reporting materials.
- Review and enhance balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen financial controls.
- Collaborate with finance teams across different countries to maintain consistent reporting practices.
- Drive improvements in finance processes, automation efforts, and system upgrades.
- Contribute to commercial and strategic ad-hoc projects as required.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with training from Big 4 or Top 10 firms.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and group consolidation processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and experienced with ERP systems.
- Effective communicator, able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Organized, commercially aware, and motivated to advance career in finance.
