About the Role
Our client, a leading US public limited company with a substantial capital base, is focused on acquiring businesses that align with their five-year strategic growth plan. The Corporate Finance Executive will be an integral part of a five-member Corporate Finance team, primarily responsible for conducting financial analyses and creating valuation models to support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment activities of the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial models that accurately embody the commercial goals of potential M&A and strategic investment ventures.
- Create and sustain analytical tools for preliminary financial evaluation such as valuation templates.
- Conduct market research and collaborate with local market contacts to evaluate anti-competitive concerns linked to M&A prospects.
- Perform due diligence on financial and accounting histories of target companies to verify data accuracy, uncover hidden liabilities, commitments, tax risks, and evaluate asset quality as well as internal controls as applicable.
- Spot financial risks related to transactional processes and integration phases.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Qualified accountant with Big Four background, trained in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services, having between zero to three years of post-qualification experience, or an industry professional with comparable experience.
- Outstanding academic record.
