Senior Financial Accountant - Real Estate

Overview

We are recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant to join an established and expanding real estate firm based in Dublin. This role is ideal for finance professionals with experience in real estate, property, REITs, property investment, construction, or funds management. The successful candidate will work within a high-performing finance department managing a significant portfolio comprising both commercial and residential properties.

Role Responsibilities

• Compile monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs promptly.
• Manage financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of property assets and investments.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and facilitate the year-end audit process.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial control standards.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting processes, and cash flow monitoring activities.
• Evaluate property performance and deliver commercial insights to senior leadership.
• Assist with transactions including acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional service partners.
• Drive continual improvement within finance procedures and workflows.
• Provide guidance and mentor junior finance staff members.

Candidate Profile

• Certified Accountant qualification is required.
• Previous exposure to real estate, property management, REITs, property investment, or funds is advantageous.
• Solid technical expertise in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills paired with commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
