About the Role

Simplex Health is looking for a Women’s Health Dietitian (Registered Dietitian, RD/RDN) to deliver telehealth outpatient medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative nutritional approach. This entirely remote, full-time position emphasizes pregnancy and prenatal nutrition, focusing on gestational diabetes (GDM) and also supports patients with hormonal imbalances, PCOS, fertility concerns, perimenopause, gut and metabolic health.

This role offers a salaried structure with benefits, a stable income, and a customizable schedule that aligns with your lifestyle preferences. Candidates should have experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling, be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania, and be devoted to providing personalized root-cause care for lasting health improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote medical nutrition therapy with a focus on pregnancy and gestational diabetes, using a functional and integrative method.
  • Evaluate patients' nutritional status focusing on prenatal needs, blood sugar control, and hormone-related issues.
  • Review daily glucose monitoring logs of GDM patients and offer prompt feedback and support.
  • Educate patients on glucose meter use and blood sugar tracking techniques.
  • Develop and update individualized nutrition plans prioritizing glycemic management during pregnancy.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare teams to maintain coordinated care.
  • Use Simplex Health protocols and tools to guide patient management.
  • Document all patient appointments accurately in the Healthie platform.
  • Respond promptly and supportively to all patient communication.
  • Engage openly to resolve workplace issues and contribute actively to team decisions.
  • Comply with company policies and keep abreast of the latest research in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes care.
  • Manage a full patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuity for optimizing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current registration as a Dietitian (RD/RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in outpatient or clinical nutrition care.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania; completion of major insurance credentialing required prior to start (process may take 3–6 months).
  • Strong interest or experience in prenatal nutrition, gestational diabetes, and hormone-related conditions.
  • Open to obtaining insurance credentialing; Simplex Health manages this process and fees.
  • Preferred: Availability for evening appointments, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), IFNA Certification or enrollment, and prior experience with pregnant patients or GDM management.

Perks and Benefits

  • Flexible work schedule: choose between 32 hours (4-day week) or 40 hours (5-day week), allowing personal and patient-oriented scheduling.
  • Potential for performance bonuses based on patient retention and face-to-face care time.
  • Supplement commission opportunities: earn 12.5% commission on supplements through Fullscript.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and 401(k) eligibility after 90 days.
  • Holiday break between Christmas and New Year’s where the office is closed.
  • Fitness allowance offering partial reimbursement for gym memberships or wellness activities.
  • Complimentary access to Simplex Wellness on Demand virtual fitness programs.
  • Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, peer collaboration, and continual support.
  • Credentialing and licensing fees covered, including support for out-of-state license reimbursement.
  • Consistent patient referrals and access to quality patient materials.
  • Supportive team and leadership that value open communication and collaboration.
  • Opportunities beyond patient care such as social media involvement, engagement projects, and educational sessions.
  • Strong community feel despite virtual setting, promoting connection and encouragement.

Additional Information

Flexible schedule options include a 4-day, 32-hour workweek ($44,000–$59,000 annual salary) or a 5-day, 40-hour workweek ($55,000–$70,000 annual salary), with compensation finalizing based on experience and chosen schedule. The role begins with a ramp-up phase where hours vary as patient caseload grows, progressing to full-time salaried status. Evening availability is preferred to meet patient demands.
