Job description

Overview

Simplex Health is looking for a dedicated Women’s Health Dietitian (RD/RDN) to deliver telehealth outpatient medical nutrition therapy. This full-time remote position primarily centers on nutrition during pregnancy and prenatal care, including managing gestational diabetes (GDM). The role also involves supporting women experiencing hormonal imbalances, PCOS, fertility issues, perimenopause, gut health, and metabolic concerns.

This opportunity offers a salaried position with benefits, providing reliable income and schedule consistency while allowing you to tailor your working hours to fit your life.

Company Mission and Approach

At Simplex Health, the mission is to radically improve human health through personalized care one patient at a time. Their insurance-funded nutrition services emphasize prevention and root cause management rather than simply addressing symptoms. The focus is on improving and sometimes reversing chronic diseases with particular attention to women's health, pregnancy, and metabolic conditions. The virtual delivery model increases accessibility and quality of care.

Role Details

  • Fully telehealth-based work location.
  • Flexible scheduling: choose a 32-hour (4-day) or 40-hour (5-day) workweek tailored to your preferences and patient needs.
  • Reports to the Senior Clinical Director.
  • Salary range depending on hours and experience: $44,000–$59,000 for 32 hours/week; $55,000–$70,000 for 40 hours/week.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should have at least two years of clinical or outpatient nutrition experience, be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania, and be passionate about a functional and integrative approach to women’s health nutrition. Familiarity with prenatal nutrition and gestational diabetes is highly valued. Candidates should be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and open to insurance credentialing, with preference for evening availability and certifications like CDCES or IFNA credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver medical nutrition therapy focusing on pregnancy and GDM through telehealth, utilizing integrative and functional nutrition approaches.
  • Assess and monitor nutrition status with emphasis on prenatal, blood sugar regulation, and hormonal health.
  • Review glucose logs timely to adjust patient care plans and provide education in glucose monitoring techniques.
  • Develop individualized nutrition plans targeting glycemic control during pregnancy.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to maintain continuity of care.
  • Document thoroughly in the Healthie platform and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
  • Support team collaboration and adhere to company policies.
  • Stay updated with advances in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes management.
  • Maintain a consistent patient caseload ensuring regular follow-ups and quality outcomes.

Work Culture and Expectations

Simplex Health fosters a supportive, growth-oriented, collaborative culture valuing servant leadership, adaptability, grit, and high personal integrity. The environment emphasizes team chemistry, energy, multitasking capability, and project management. Staff benefit from structured onboarding, regular team communication, and opportunities for professional engagement beyond clinical care.

Employee Benefits

  • Flexible workweek options (4 or 5 days).
  • Performance bonuses based on patient retention and direct care hours.
  • Supplement sale commissions (12.5% of MSRP).
  • Paid Time Off and 401(k) plans (after 90 days).
  • Holiday break during Christmas-New Year’s period.
  • Partial reimbursement for fitness expenses and free access to virtual fitness programs.
  • Comprehensive support including credentialing cost coverage and technology reimbursements.
  • Consistent patient referrals and quality clinical materials.
  • Responsive support team for scheduling and technology needs.

Additional Information

Applicants must obtain Pennsylvania licensure and complete insurance credentialing before starting; this process can take 3 to 6 months. Candidates in Pacific or Mountain time zones are encouraged as they provide coverage during East Coast evening hours while working standard daytime hours locally. Team meetings are held primarily in EST with recordings available for asynchronous participation.
