Simplex Health is looking for a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to deliver outpatient medical nutrition therapy remotely via telehealth, employing an integrative and functional nutrition methodology. Work Schedule and Compensation
- Choose between a 4-day (32-hour) or 5-day (40-hour) workweek, flexible to your and your patients' needs.
- Reports to the Clinical Manager.
- Annual salary ranges: $44,000–$59,000 for 32 hours/week; $55,000–$70,000 for 40 hours/week.
- Schedule and pay are finalized based on experience, availability, and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy using functional and integrative approaches.
- Utilize Simplex Health's protocols and educational tools when treating patients.
- Assess nutritional health and design personalized root-cause treatment plans.
- Develop and adapt nutrition interventions aligned with patient goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all sessions within the Healthie platform.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries.
- Engage in team collaboration, case consultations, and shared educational opportunities.
- Communicate effectively to resolve work-related matters and contribute positively to the team.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and clinical standards.
- Keep current with emerging nutrition research and best practices.
- Manage a consistent patient caseload, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
Candidate Requirements
- Registered Dietitian with CDR registration and licensure (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum two years of experience in outpatient or clinical care.
- Open to or currently credentialed with insurance providers.
- Passion for integrative and functional nutrition and working collaboratively.
- No active private practice or independent counseling to avoid conflicts of interest.
- Preferred availability for evening appointments to meet patient demand.
- Certifications such as CDCES or IFNA credentials are valued; candidates in training are welcome.
- Completion of insurance credentialing and PA license prior to start, which may take 3-6 months.
