About the Role
Become a vital part of the St. Luke’s Health System team in Twin Falls, ID as an EVS/Linen Technician I. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks according to established procedures.
- Perform a variety of linen-related functions, following system policies and guidelines.
- Use and maintain specialized floor equipment, including responsibilities such as stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, shampooing, extracting, sweeping, and mopping as needed.
- Execute daily cleaning assignments using approved aseptic methods and specialized cleaning equipment.
- Ensure correct and safe use of all cleaning agents, observing required safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment as necessary.
- Follow all infection control measures and universal precaution standards to guarantee a consistently sanitary facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve simple issues as they arise, escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Carry out additional assigned tasks as required to support hospital operations.
