Clean Team Lead

Position Summary

As the Clean Team Lead at Walmart Supercenter in Huntsville, AL, you will spearhead the janitorial team to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness across the store. This includes overseeing all areas, from parking lots and restrooms to receiving bays, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for shoppers and employees alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff in maintaining overall store cleanliness.
• Ensure cleaning protocols are followed throughout critical areas including entrances, bathrooms, and backroom locations.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs or spill emergencies efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with management and teammates regarding maintenance issues or supply needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to work various shifts as assigned.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles strongly preferred.
• Willingness to comply with all workplace health, safety, and drug-free policies.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $33, with opportunities for additional compensation such as performance-based incentives and premiums (up to $3.00/hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed).
