Job Role Overview

This full-time position is based onsite in Westoning and involves the physical aspects of removals work. Responsibilities include safely handling the loading, transport, and unloading of client belongings, ensuring careful treatment of all items. Tasks cover packing and wrapping goods, dismantling and rebuilding furniture, and systematic arrangement of items within vehicles and storage units. The role requires interaction with clients during moving days, adherence to scheduled plans, and cooperative teamwork to complete tasks efficiently. Work schedules may occasionally demand early starts and extended hours while strictly following health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Capability to conduct manual handling duties safely, including lifting and carrying furniture and boxes.
• Excellent customer service skills, maintaining professionalism and politeness with clients on site.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills to follow directions and coordinate moves effectively.
• Organizational aptitude for meticulous packing, labeling, and loading to safeguard possessions during transport.
• Basic problem-solving talents to address challenges such as access restrictions and confined spaces during moves.
• Dependability with punctuality and a flexible attitude toward work schedules and locations.
• Holding a valid driving license is preferred, with beneficial experience operating vans or larger vehicles used in removals.
• Previous experience in removal services, warehousing, or similar physical work is an advantage but not compulsory.
