Position Overview
We are seeking an organised and motivated Office Administrator for a maternity cover role starting September 2026 for an anticipated duration of approximately one year. This position is based in our Milton Keynes office and offers full-time or part-time hours, Monday to Friday, with potential flexibility suitable for candidates looking to work school-friendly hours. The role supports the smooth operation of the office and assists various teams within the business.
Key Duties
- Managing telephone communications and responding to emails promptly
- Updating client and job information accurately within the CRM system
- Creating and maintaining necessary documents, records, and spreadsheets
- Assisting with scheduling and coordination of work assignments
- Communicating effectively with customers, engineers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Providing general administrative support as required
- Helping team members with various ad hoc administrative tasks
- Ensuring all information is precise, well-organized, and current
Candidate Profile
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Confident interacting with customers and team members
- Quick learner for new software systems and processes
- Experience using CRM or other business management systems preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated
- Enjoys collaborating within a supportive and successful team environment
- Maintains professionalism and calmness in a busy workplace
While previous administrative or customer service experience is advantageous, a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and teamwork skills are equally valued.
