Role Overview

This full-time on-site position at Kingaroy, Queensland within the Inclusive Employment Australia Program combines direct participant support with sales, relationship development, and administrative responsibilities. The role focuses on creating employment opportunities and fostering relationships to deliver meaningful outcomes for participants, many of whom face disabilities, injuries, or long-term unemployment.

Key Responsibilities

Build trusting relationships with participants to understand and support their employment ambitions.
Coach and prepare participants for job readiness, including developing resumes, interview skills, job searching, and facilitating training/upskilling.
Advocate for participants to employers, securing job placements and opportunities.
Engage proactively with local businesses through cold calls, site visits, and personal meetings to identify and generate job opportunities.
Manage a robust employer pipeline to convert opportunities into placements.
Identify hidden job markets through business development activities.
Present candidate skills effectively to meet employer needs and influence hiring decisions emphasizing both commercial and social benefits of inclusive recruitment.
Negotiate and arrange job trials, work experiences, and wage subsidies to maximize employment outcomes.
Maintain and build ongoing relationships with employers ensuring repeat business and sustained vacancies.
Meet and exceed KPIs related to placements, employer engagement, and activity levels.
Conduct regular participant appointments and monitor progress toward employment goals.
Ensure compliance, accurate documentation, and data management per program guidelines.
Celebrate participant success and milestones motivating ongoing engagement.

Candidate Profile

Additional Requirements

Australian work eligibility is mandatory.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and comprehensive vehicle insurance.
Must have a Standard level MyGovID.
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
