Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a partner healthcare company based in Canada. This role is designed to build and enhance a robust recruitment function within a rapidly expanding healthcare environment. The individual will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, offers, onboarding coordination, and continual process refinement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across clinical, corporate, and operational roles, ensuring smooth candidate and stakeholder experiences.
- Build proactive talent pipelines using direct sourcing, industry databases, referrals, and strategic outreach techniques.
- Recruit specialized professionals in healthcare and corporate sectors within competitive markets.
- Conduct structured phone interviews applying standardized evaluation frameworks and deliver evidence-based candidate assessments.
- Coordinate complex interview schedules involving multiple stakeholders across various time zones.
- Develop and maintain recruiting materials such as interview guides, scorecards, and documentation.
- Communicate consistently with candidates throughout the hiring process, including feedback and offer discussions.
- Manage offer extension, compensation negotiation, and the transition from offer to onboarding.
- Maintain precise applicant tracking system (ATS) data, workflows, and recruitment reports.
- Continuously enhance recruiting standard operating procedures, sourcing methods, and operational workflows to support company growth.
- Analyze hiring metrics and generate detailed pipeline reports to improve recruitment efficiency.
- Leverage artificial intelligence technologies to optimize recruiting workflows and evaluation processes.
Required Qualifications
- More than five years of full-cycle recruiting experience with significant in-house recruitment expertise.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring specialized or credentialed professionals in competitive fields.
- Strong skills in direct sourcing and pipeline development.
- Experience managing interview processes, candidate assessments, and structured hiring tools like scorecards.
- Proficiency in extending offers and handling compensation discussions.
- Expertise in recruiting operations including ATS management, reporting, and process improvement.
- Effective use of AI solutions in recruitment workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills able to juggle multiple open roles and dynamic priorities.
- Availability to work during core hours aligned with US Eastern Time.
Preferred Experience
- Experience recruiting Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), behavioral health specialists, or healthcare clinicians.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Ashby or comparable systems.
- Background working with multi-site or multi-state healthcare organizations.
- Knowledge of international recruitment frameworks including contractor-of-record or employer-of-record setups.
- Experience in high-growth startups with responsibilities to establish and scale recruiting infrastructure.
