About the Role and Company
Join APM Employment Services at our Gin Gin, Queensland location as an Employment Consultant within the Workforce Australia Program. Key Responsibilities
- Assist participants in identifying ideal employment opportunities and support them to prepare for, secure, and maintain long-term jobs through the Workforce Australia program.
- Enhance participants' confidence by helping them recognize their strengths, address challenges, and approach employment with renewed focus and motivation.
- Create innovative solutions to overcome barriers to employment ensuring participants have adequate tools and support for success.
- Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and workplace accommodations within the community and partner organizations.
- Cultivate and sustain partnerships with employers who are committed to diversity and providing opportunities for all individuals.
- Celebrate every achievement with participants, recognizing even small milestones as part of their success journey.
Qualifications and Requirements
- You must be eligible to work in Australia.
- Possess a current driver's license and have access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Hold a MyGovID at the Standard level.
- Be willing to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check.
- Availability to work full-time hours Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
