Role Description

The Employment Consultant role involves facilitating sustainable employment for individuals by matching candidates with suitable opportunities, fostering confidence, overcoming obstacles, creating customized employment pathways, championing inclusive workplaces, and celebrating successes. Collaborating closely with local employers to secure lasting employment outcomes is a key aspect, making each workday uniquely rewarding.

Candidate Profile

  • An empathetic, energetic individual committed to fostering inclusion and positive change.
  • An effective relationship builder and innovative problem solver.
  • Experience in employment services is advantageous but not required; transferable skills from sales, retail, hospitality, call centres, consulting, business development, or administration are valued.

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in Australia.
  • Possession of a current driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • MyGovID at Standard level.
  • Willingness to undertake National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Availability to work weekdays, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
