- Prepare weekly call reports for the supervisor and/or General Manager, and submit a monthly report covering past activity, prospecting, trends, competitor promotions, and forecasted sales, production, and conversion figures.
- Attend the monthly Sales/Rooms Division/Credit meeting.
- Work toward key account and key market targets by creating and implementing effective action plans for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Support the collection of outstanding balances and follow up regularly with the local travel trade in line with credit policy, in coordination with the Credit Manager and Rooms Division.
- Negotiate and sign contracts with local inbound operators, travel agents, and corporate clients in line with official rate policy and in coordination with the General Manager.
- Carry out rate market surveys and advise management on current market movements.

- Lead regular technical and skills training, and help maintain ongoing department training programs with the Director, People & Culture and Manager, People Development.
- Track staff vacation and public holiday balances each month and provide a consolidated summary to the Director, People & Culture.
- Remain familiar with company documentation and the relevant Operational Standards Manual for the role.
- Serve as Duty Manager when scheduled.
- Support task force teams for new hotel openings.
