Job Summary

Seeking a passionate cook (m/f/d) to join our team at the Antipasteria "Volare" and the event catering section of Mercure Hotel Stuttgart Gerlingen. If you have experience handling food with care and enjoy preparing and serving delightful meals, this role is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise.

The event area hosts meetings and functions for up to 80 guests, and the core business operates Monday through Friday. The Antipasteria "Volare" specializes in exquisite Italian cuisine, providing a refined dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily fresh menus, buffets, and à la carte dishes in the "Volare" open kitchen setting.
• Ensure smooth shift operations and deliver exceptional guest service.
• Handle and store incoming and outgoing food items properly.
• Comply with legal hygiene standards (HACCP).

Required Qualifications

• Completed professional training as a cook and/or relevant practical work experience.
• Manual dexterity, creativity, and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety laws and HACCP regulations.
• Effective time management and awareness of quality and cost aspects.
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Proficiency in German language.
