Cluster Incharge - Solar O&M (AM)

Role Overview

This position leads cluster-level operations for solar power plant O&M activities in Dhule, Maharashtra. The role focuses on coordinating teams, vendors, and internal functions to keep sites running smoothly, protect energy generation targets, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal teams, site personnel, vendors, and contractors to keep operations aligned.
• Identify likely issues in advance and act early to prevent delays or interface problems.
• Make sure site technicians and senior technicians carry out O&M work as required under the EESL tender.
• Coordinate with district-level MSEDCL representatives and with EESL teams in Mumbai and the Dhule cluster.
• Support site technicians and senior technicians so the plants remain operational and energy guarantee commitments are met.
• Visit assigned sites every month to review the quality and effectiveness of O&M execution.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports and returns to EESL officials and the head office in Ahmedabad.
• Manage spare parts, inverter-related spares, and major assemblies; ensure inventory is replenished as items are used.
• Partner with techno-commercial and logistics teams for movement of materials and stores to the sites.
• Organize and complete JMR activities for the sites within the required timelines.
• Follow up with OEMs and subcontractors to speed up correction of faults that affect generation or plant safety.
• Work closely with subcontractor technical teams to help maximize incentives from each site.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 7-8 years of experience in solar power plant operations and maintenance. A B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering is required. An MBA is preferred.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Dhule, Maharashtra, India. The position is with Adani Group and is focused on solar O&M cluster operations.
