Job description
Role Overview
As a Leader at Coles, your influence will be felt in everyday team interactions and significant business operations, connecting deeply with customers and the community. Whether stationed in-store, distribution centres, manufacturing sites, or on the move, your role supports Coles' commitment to helping Australians live and eat better.
The Click & Collect Manager oversees the online department of Coles, which includes managing the team of Personal Shoppers responsible for picking and packing online orders. These orders are subsequently collected through the Click & Collect or concierge services, or delivered via Coles delivery vans. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will handle all daily operations of the online department, ensuring a customer-friendly, inspiring shopping experience for customers, team members, and the local community. This presents a superb chance to elevate your retail leadership career.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide leadership by coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Collaborate with your team to meet sales goals, manage costs, and handle rostering efficiently.
- Maintain simplicity and customer inspiration by ensuring Coles' visual merchandising, safety, compliance, and stock control standards are strictly followed.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer needs, constantly enhancing understanding of the diverse customer base.
- Foster a unified team culture that acknowledges and celebrates achievements.
Benefits and Perks
- Receive a 5% discount year-round on supermarket and liquor purchases online and in-store, with opportunities for 10% discounts during special periods and exclusive hotdeals for team members.
- Participate in the ‘mythanks’ digital recognition platform, where you can earn points redeemable for gifts and gift cards from various retailers, reinforcing our values-based recognition system.
- Access structured learning pathways including comprehensive induction, management, and leadership training designed to support your growth.
- Eligible team members can benefit from novated car leases for convenient vehicle acquisition.
- Opportunity to become a part-owner of the Coles Group through our team member share plan, which supports pre-tax salary sacrifice deductions to acquire shares annually.
- Permanent employees are supported with paid parental leave to help balance work and family commitments.

Coles strives to cultivate a gender equitable and diverse team that reflects the communities served. Our workplace values safety and respect, welcoming applications from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, persons of all ages, abilities, cultures, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
