Role Purpose & Responsibilities
We have an exciting vacancy for a senior leader as General Manager for Western Australia and Northern Territory. This role involves steering regional operations, advancing growth, encouraging innovation, and fostering excellent customer relations.
- Create and implement regional growth plans that align with national strategies.
- Enhance revenue streams, profitability, and operational efficiency within WA and NT.
- Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with clients, consultants, and key industry participants.
- Lead efforts to expand market share and increase service utilization through business development.
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Maintain rigorous governance, compliance, quality assurance, and risk controls.
- Attract, engage, and retain skilled medical specialists and consultants.
- Guide, mentor, and develop a high-achieving leadership team and workforce.
- Act as a representative for mlcoa at industry events, customer engagements, and professional forums.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within mlcoa and MedHealth to seize growth and innovation opportunities, ensuring responsiveness to market and customer shifts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive senior leadership experience in healthcare, insurance, rehabilitation, professional services, or similarly complex service fields.
- Demonstrable success in crafting and executing strategies to achieve enduring business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Strong commercial and financial management skills with accountability for budgeting and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Inspirational leadership style with experience managing high-performing teams through periods of growth and change.
- Track record of leading innovation, continuous improvement, and organizational transformation efforts.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement abilities, capable of representing the company at an executive level.
- Sound understanding of governance, risk, and compliance in regulated or professional environments.
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to business, health, management, or related areas are highly favored.
