Role Overview

The Chief of Staff to the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) supports Wider Circle's Delivery division, which manages Care Delivery, Community, and Benefits programs serving over 50,000 members nationwide. This pivotal position acts as the CDO’s strategic partner, managing operational rhythms, advancing executive-driven projects, and facilitating the launch of new initiatives, client programs, and partnerships amid company growth.

This is a visible, influential role central to a rapidly scaling healthcare delivery organization targeting revenue growth from $20M to $100M per year. The Chief of Staff will operationalize the company’s strategy and build frameworks enabling leadership to make timely, informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational cadence, including quarterly planning, business reviews, KPI tracking, and forecasting for the Delivery organization.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards to monitor operational, financial, and organizational metrics in real time.
  • Lead executive performance reviews promoting accountability within the organization.
  • Collaborate with the CDO to convert enterprise strategies into executable operational plans, effectively navigating changing priorities.
  • Lead or coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects requiring executive oversight.
  • Ensure operational readiness for new clients, acquisitions, and delivery model changes by coordinating with Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and remove obstacles to maintain smooth execution.
  • Support line leaders in meeting operational, financial, quality, and growth targets by resolving cross-functional issues and enhancing execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders by assisting with prioritization, problem-solving, and removing execution barriers.
  • Employ process improvement methods such as Lean Six Sigma to standardize and scale Delivery operations.
  • Assist with organizational design, workforce planning, and change management during organizational growth.
  • Develop governance frameworks promoting scalable execution across current and future business lines.
  • Support maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes within delivery teams.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare, managed care, or service delivery sectors, covering operations and data analytics.
  • Proven experience managing operations, including workflow design, dashboard creation, and KPI development.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or population health programs.
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling intricate programs under tight deadlines.
  • Strong skills in KPI creation, executive dashboard development, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Expertise in process improvements such as Lean Six Sigma with proven results.
  • Excellent executive communication abilities, including preparing board-level materials and strategic recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree mandatory; MBA or PMP certification is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
