Role Summary
Serving as Chief of Staff to the Chief Delivery Officer, you will act as a strategic partner in leading Wider Circle's Delivery division, which manages programs supporting over 50,000 members nationwide. This pivotal position is ideal for someone eager to influence a rapidly expanding healthcare delivery entity growing its revenue from $20 million to $100 million annually. You will facilitate turning strategy into operational reality and establish frameworks that enable more agile and informed decision-making by leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and own the organizations operating rhythms, including quarterly planning, business assessments, performance tracking, and forecasting within Delivery.
- Create and maintain executive dashboards for real-time monitoring of operational, financial, and organizational metrics.
- Lead reviews of executive performance to foster accountability throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with the Chief Delivery Officer to convert enterprise strategies into detailed operational plans and steer execution amidst changing priorities.
- Drive and coordinate strategic projects that span several business units or require high-level sponsorship.
- Oversee operational preparedness for new clients, acquisitions, and new delivery models involving cross-departmental coordination.
- Identify challenges and remove cross-functional obstacles proactively to prevent delays.
- Support leaders across business lines in meeting objectives related to operations, financials, quality, and growth by resolving issues and enhancing execution.
- Provide advisory support to line leaders by prioritizing initiatives, solving operational complexities, and eliminating execution barriers.
- Implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies to standardize and scale Delivery operations.
- Assist with organizational structure, workforce planning, change management, and developing governance frameworks to support ongoing scalability.
- Maintain and support standard operating procedures and process consistency across delivery functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years in advancing leadership roles within healthcare, managed care, or similar service delivery sectors, encompassing both operational and analytical facets.
- Direct experience overseeing operations with a focus on workflow design, KPIs, and dashboard development.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, or population health initiatives.
- Proven ability to design and scale complex programs rapidly under tight deadlines.
- Strong expertise in KPI creation, executive-level dashboards, and leveraging data to inform decisions.
- Skilled in process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, with demonstrated outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills at the executive level, including preparation of board-level presentations and strategic proposals.
- Bachelors degree required; advanced qualifications like an MBA or PMP certification are advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary between $130,000 and $150,000.
