Role Summary

The Chief of Staff will support the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) by managing the operational cadence and spearheading executive-level projects across Wider Circle’s Delivery organization, which serves over 50,000 members nationwide. This critical role involves scaling the organization’s operations amidst rapid growth and aiding in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans to facilitate data-driven leadership decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the rhythm of quarterly planning, business reviews, KPI monitoring, and forecasting within the Delivery team.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards that display real-time operational, financial, and organizational metrics.
  • Lead performance evaluations at the executive level to ensure accountability across departments.
  • Collaborate with the CDO to convert enterprise strategies into implementable operational plans, navigating changing priorities with judgment and adaptability.
  • Direct or coordinate multi-departmental strategic initiatives and high-profile projects needing executive involvement.
  • Facilitate operational preparedness among Operations, Product, and Technology teams for client onboarding, acquisitions, and changing delivery methods.
  • Identify operational risks and resolve cross-functional challenges to maintain smooth execution.
  • Support business leaders to meet operational, financial, quality, and growth goals by proactively addressing potential obstacles and enhancing execution processes.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for business line leaders by prioritizing projects, solving complex operation challenges, and removing implementation barriers.
  • Utilize process improvement approaches such as Lean Six Sigma to standardize and scale operations across Delivery.
  • Assist with organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives during the company’s expansion.
  • Create and maintain governance frameworks for scalable execution within existing and new business segments.
  • Help develop and sustain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across Delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in healthcare, managed care, or related service delivery, covering operations and data analytics.
  • Proven expertise in operational management including workflow design, dashboard creation, and KPI tracking.
  • Direct familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, or population health initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and scale intricate programs within tight deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in KPI development and utilization of executive dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
  • Solid background in process improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for preparing board presentations and strategic advice for senior executives.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; MBA or PMP certification is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary between $130,000 and $150,000.
