Role Overview
The Sage Group's client, a pioneering tech entertainment and streaming company under a major technology conglomerate, is searching for a business-oriented marketing professional. This individual will join the Marketing Strategy and Operations team in a dual role supporting a global director both strategically and operationally. The position requires anticipation of needs and managing initiatives in alignment with the senior director's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee marketing program management activities.
- Manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to monitor progress.
- Lead annual planning and forecasting processes including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Track resources and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance operational processes continually.
- Serve as Chief of Operations for the Center of Excellence (COE), acting as a strategic operational partner to ensure the director's vision is effectively implemented.
- Collaborate with the director to define, communicate, and advance strategic initiatives across the company.
- Translate high-level goals into actionable plans with cross-departmental alignment.
- Enhance decision-making frameworks by organizing key forums to ensure team and stakeholder consensus.
- Coordinate with COE Marketing Operations leads and central Strategy & Operations teams on planning activities.
- Provide executive-level support and advice to the marketing director.
- Lead cross-functional communication and foster a unified, productive organizational culture.
- Plan, facilitate, and manage executive meetings including weekly leadership, monthly all-hands, and annual offsite gatherings, ensuring clear agendas and follow-ups.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and updates representing the director's communications.
- Identify complex challenges, analyze options, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Manage strategic projects including quarterly and annual OKR preparations with team leaders and agency partners.
- Assist in managing budgets related to resources such as travel and entertainment, ensuring proper allocation and fiscal accountability.
Qualifications
- More than 10 years of experience in marketing program management.
- At least 3 years in a Chief of Staff or equivalent role.
- Minimum 5 years in resource management, operational planning, or project/program management roles.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience or direct support of executive leadership.
- A proven history of effectively driving strategic projects and initiatives.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience as a people manager.
- Knowledge of change management practices.
Additional Information
This is a long-term contract position extending through the end of 2026 with anticipated yearly renewals. It is fully remote within the United States. Compensation ranges from $85 to $95 per hour on a W-2 basis. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, matching 401(k), and paid time off.
