Overview

This position at Cisco Capital's Global Business Process Management team supports accelerating solution sales and enhancing customer and partner success through innovation, technology, and enablement. Situated primarily on the East Coast (excluding NYC Metro, Massachusetts, Virginia, DC, and Maryland), this full-time role follows a hybrid work model involving two days in-office weekly. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects involving Cisco Capital’s Global Connect Applications, focusing on integrating data governance and analytical frameworks within core business operations.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to gather and document business requirements while collaborating with IT teams to enhance operational system functionality.
  • Prepare comprehensive business documentation including BRDs, process maps, test plans, and training guides, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Participate actively in testing phases such as sprints and user acceptance tests, maintaining high-quality delivery standards.
  • Promote data accuracy through establishing and adhering to data policies and managing data catalogs, serving as a subject-matter expert for consistent data definitions.
  • Work with stakeholders to convert business queries into analytical requirements, leveraging SQL and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for data analysis to guide decisions.
  • Design accessible data models and conduct training sessions to empower business users for self-service analytics.
  • Collaborate with IT to explore and implement AI-enhanced capabilities like natural language data search and automated data classification to optimize platform efficiency.
  • Partner with leadership to craft long-term enablement strategies and roadmaps outlining dependencies among tools, systems, and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ related experience including at least 2 years in leadership roles such as project or functional lead.
  • Experience with finance receivable systems like InfoLease or Oracle Lease Management alongside a strong grasp of data governance principles.
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating data from diverse sources and familiar with Agile project delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills to dissect complex data and resolve business issues with thorough analysis.
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills covering BRDs, process flows, and training materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with business, IT, and data teams.
  • Comfortable delivering training virtually or in person to large groups to enable user autonomy with systems and tools.
  • Experience using AI-driven analysis tools and understanding how data quality impacts AI model performance.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process enhancement and data standardization within business operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced SQL abilities and hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MS Access.
  • Experience with SAP Business Objects reporting tools.
  • Strong awareness of data governance concepts including quality, security, privacy, and metadata management.
  • Familiarity with data cataloging and lineage.

Additional Information

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range is $93,500 to $125,500 per year for new hires, varying by location, skills, and experience. Detailed salary ranges differ by state and metro areas within the U.S. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, volunteer days, and bonuses based on company policies. Employees may also receive Cisco restricted stock units vested over time.
