Role Overview
The Account Manager will serve as a key strategic partner and trusted advisor managing influencer marketing client portfolios. This role blends strategic consultancy, campaign management, and team leadership to maximize campaign ROI and foster sustained customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships end-to-end, supporting onboarding through renewals to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Advise clients by delivering strategies aligned with their business targets and lead regular strategic reviews.
- Oversee execution of influencer campaigns, maintaining quality, timeliness, and KPI adherence.
- Collaborate with clients post-sale to optimize campaign performance using best practices and data insights.
- Handle budgets, contracts, and deliverables with accuracy and proactive communication.
- Delegate tactical tasks to junior team members while mentoring and coaching them.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, strategy, research, and product teams to enhance client experiences.
- Represent client and influencer perspectives internally, contributing feedback that shapes product and service development.
- Analyze campaign results to provide actionable insights and anticipate risks or opportunities.
- Help evolve influencer marketing best practices and platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications
- Between 3 to 5+ years in influencer marketing, social media, or campaign management, preferably from agency or paid media contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic counsel aligned with client business metrics.
- Effective multitasking and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret data and convert into strategic actions.
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
- Customer-centric mindset with high integrity and empathy.
- Familiarity with influencer or marketing technology platforms; willingness to master Later Influence™ platform.

Compensation and Workplace
The role offers a salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 OTE (base plus commission/variable). Compensation is benchmarked by market data and adjusted bi-annually based on performance and market conditions. Permanent employees may participate in benefits plans; contractors and freelancers are not eligible.
Later operates offices in Boston, MA; Vancouver, BC; and Vancouver, WA, with remote working options available for select positions including this role.
