Position Overview
The Vice President of Revenue Operations will lead and evolve the operational backbone of Later's go-to-market efforts, encompassing Sales, Marketing, Customer, Creator Operations, Enablement, and Development & Integration teams. This executive role involves managing daily operational execution and spearheading transformative initiatives, including modernizing technology stacks and integrating AI to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end revenue operations infrastructure across six sub-functions to enable seamless pipeline management, forecasting, territory design, lead routing, and deal operations.
- Drive renewal and expansion operations collaborating closely with Client Services and Creator Success teams.
- Implement rigorous operational rhythms such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and planning reviews.
- Collaborate with C-suite leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient go-to-market execution.
- Manage revenue enablement strategies providing tools, training, and content that empower selling teams.
- Lead evaluation, consolidation, and enhancement of the tech stack including Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, ChiliPiper, Nooks, Chorus, and others.
- Champion process redesign to scale lead-to-opportunity workflows and campaign operations effectively.
- Integrate AI-powered workflows and automation to accelerate performance and operational quality.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Data leadership to ensure clean, structured operational data feeds into BI and AI systems.
- Develop a forward-looking operational roadmap aligned with company objectives and AI transformation.
- Manage and mentor a leadership team composed of a Principal RevOps Manager, Director of Creator Operations, and Head of Sales Enablement, each overseeing specialized teams.
- Design and adapt the operating model and organizational structure to support business scaling.
- Foster a culture emphasizing operational excellence, intellectual curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of progressive revenue or business operations experience within SaaS, marketplaces, or technology sectors.
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles managing managers and directors.
- Experience leading revenue operations at a VP level or readiness for such responsibility in a high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in full RevOps disciplines including pipeline management, forecasting, territory design, and renewal operations.
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce and familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot and marketing automation tools.
- Practical experience deploying AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in operational workflows.
- Strong financial literacy relating to bookings forecasting and revenue modeling.
- Ability to operate across diverse customer segments and GTM strategies.
- Exceptional executive presence with stakeholder management at C-suite and board levels.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Experience
- Background in influencer marketing, creator economy, marketplace, or affiliate marketing.
- Expertise in creator operations and lifecycle management.
- Experience scaling Dev & Integrations teams within operations.
- Familiarity with AI automation platforms like Gumloop or Zapier AI.
- Experience in PE-backed or pre-IPO companies with board reporting.
- Knowledge of data enrichment and prospecting tools such as Clay or ZoomInfo.

Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a market-aligned salary range of $190,000 to $220,000 USD, benchmarked against geographic standards with periodic reviews based on performance and market trends. Permanent employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits packages; however, contractors and freelancers are excluded.
