Role Overview
The Business Development Executive (BDE) at PhonePe is primarily a field-oriented position aimed at generating revenue through merchant acquisition and the promotion of digital payment services such as POS terminals and QR code-based systems. The position involves direct engagement with businesses to foster adoption of PhonePe's digital payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential business prospects and new merchants to onboard.
- Conduct field visits to engage directly with clients and prospects.
- Promote and demonstrate PhonePe's digital payment products including POS machines and QR code payment options.
- Develop and maintain strong, enduring relationships with clients to ensure long-term business growth.
