Role Overview

We are searching for a strategic, hands-on VP, Head of People to drive talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and HR operations. Reporting to the CEO and partnering with the leadership team, this role will manage the employee lifecycle including recruitment, leadership and talent development, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will combine deep business insight with operational effectiveness to scale people initiatives in a fast-growing company.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executives to craft and execute a people strategy aligned with business goals and growth.
  • Advise on organizational structure, succession, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Lead change management initiatives enhancing scalability and performance.
  • Use workforce data and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Direct recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning to attract and retain top talent.
  • Enhance employer branding and streamline recruiting processes to improve candidate and employee experience.
  • Guide performance management aligning individual, team, and company goals.
  • Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability and company values.
  • Coach leaders on talent management and development best practices.
  • Develop leadership programs strengthening managerial capacity for driving results.
  • Lead engagement, retention, recognition, and employee relations initiatives fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Manage competitive compensation, benefits, incentive programs, and ensure internal equity.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and optimize HR operations, policies, and analytics.
  • Continuously improve HR infrastructure to support growth and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years progressive experience in Human Resources with leadership roles in high-growth environments.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or PHR preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, talent management, performance systems, compensation, benefits, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement strategies for talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement that drive measurable results.
  • Strong business acumen with proficiency in workforce analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and change management capabilities.
  • Experience in digital marketing, lead generation, SaaS, technology, or professional services sectors is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with managing remote, multi-state workforces preferred.

Compensation Range

Annual salary ranges from 170000 to 185000 USD for this Miami, FL-based position.
