Role Overview

The VP, Head of People, reporting to the CEO, will craft and lead the company's people strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, leadership and performance management, employee engagement, rewards, HR operations, and compliance to build a scalable, high-impact organization aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executives to develop and implement strategic people plans.
  • Advise on organizational design, succession, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Lead change initiatives enhancing scalability and employee experience.
  • Drive data-informed decisions using workforce analytics.
  • Lead recruitment and talent retention strategies, building scalable onboarding and development programs.
  • Improve employer branding, candidate experience, and recruitment efficiency.
  • Manage performance programs aligning with company objectives and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Coach leaders on development, feedback, recognition, and talent management.
  • Develop leadership programs and equip managers to lead high-performing teams.
  • Enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace relations, including conflict resolution and policy enforcement.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs to motivate and retain talent.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and improve HR systems, policies, and processes to support organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience in high-growth, performance-driven environments.
  • Preferred certifications include SHRM-SCP, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or PHR.
  • Expertise in employment law, HR operations, talent management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Track record of developing strategic talent and leadership programs achieving measurable results.
  • Strong business insight with ability to use analytics and financial data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and change management skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing, lead generation, technology, SaaS, or professional services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with remote and multi-state workforce management preferred.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to CEO.
  • May oversee Talent Acquisition, HR Generalists or Business Partners, Learning & Development, and Office Administration teams.

  • Base salary with performance-based variable and transactional bonuses.

Additional Information

Some benefits may vary based on eligibility and availability. The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $185,000 annually USD. Candidates are encouraged to consider cultural fit aligned with company values before applying.
