Overview
Our client, a prestigious U.S.-based investment bank expanding its European footprint, seeks to strengthen their Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions team with a senior professional at the Vice President or Director level. This role is based in London or Paris within a lean, entrepreneurial environment that enjoys a steady stream of deals through a broad network in Europe and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or assist in buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions within the Healthcare sector.
- Develop complex financial models and perform detailed valuations, including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and comparable company analyses.
- Create compelling client-facing presentations, information memoranda, and marketing documents.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate management, advisors, and investors to drive deal origination.
- Oversee or participate in financial and commercial due diligence, collaborating with external advisors to evaluate risks and value factors.
- Engage in strategic advisory roles, transaction execution, and managing various project streams.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of six years' experience in M&A, gained through investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance roles.
- Some familiarity with the Healthcare industry, across any vertical.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Proven track record handling transactions and independently managing workstreams.
- Commercially astute, resourceful, and able to perform effectively in small teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in French is not mandatory.
