Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner employer that handles the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The organization is seeking a Vice President of Product and Partnerships located in the United States.
In this senior leadership role, you will guide product direction while also building and expanding the strategic partnership network that increases the platform’s reach and impact. You will work where product strategy, partnerships, and go-to-market planning meet, turning executive priorities into a practical roadmap that can be delivered by the team. The role owns the full product journey, from early discovery through launch and iteration, with customer needs and market signals embedded into every decision. You will also oversee content partnerships and platform integrations that strengthen the broader ecosystem and improve results for end users. Partnering closely with engineering, customer-facing functions, and executive leadership, you will help shape the evolution of the platform into a more data-led and AI-enabled solution. This is a prominent role that calls for strong executive presence, commercial judgment, and a genuine interest in scaling products within the education technology space.
Key accountabilities
- Convert the product vision into a clear roadmap, working with senior leadership on priorities, milestones, and the metrics used to measure success.
- Oversee product management from discovery through delivery, making sure needs are well defined, properly sequenced, and executed in partnership with engineering.
- Lead customer and market discovery through interviews, focus groups, beta programs, and ongoing research to shape product direction and prioritization.
- Own strategic partnership development, including relationships with content providers, integration partners, and technology vendors that expand platform capabilities.
- Support Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales with internal enablement materials, including messaging, positioning, and product value stories.
- Work with Finance and executive leaders to shape monetization approaches such as pricing, packaging, and feature tiering.
- Promote AI-driven innovation and data strategy as the platform becomes more intelligent and insight-led.
- Develop and coach a high-performing product team with repeatable processes, standards, and operating cadences.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of product management experience, including senior leadership experience in SaaS or other technology-led environments.
- Demonstrated ability to turn executive direction into structured product roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with product discovery and delivery, including requirements definition and agile execution.
- Background in building and managing strategic partnerships, including integrations and vendor relationships.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
- Proven ability to create and execute monetization strategies and pricing models.
- Analytical, data-informed decision-making skills with the ability to turn findings into strategy.
- Confident executive communication and cross-functional influence skills.
- Experience in higher education, edtech, or workforce development is strongly preferred.
Benefits and perks
- 100% remote setup with flexible working arrangements.
- Competitive pay with equity participation.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) plan with employer match.
- Unlimited paid time off plus quarterly mental health days.
- Paid parental leave and family support benefits.
- Home office allowance and wellness-related perks.
- Opportunities for growth in a mission-led, high-impact environment.
- Exposure to AI-first product development and data-driven platforms.
- Inclusive, collaborative, and mission-focused culture.
