Vice President of Operations

Overview

A rapidly expanding and entrepreneurial company in the events and experiential marketing sector is searching for an experienced Vice President of Operations to join their executive team based in Nashville, TN. This strategic leadership role will focus on driving operational excellence, creating scalable systems, leading multidisciplinary teams, and positioning the company for substantial growth and new market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive business operations across a growing, multifaceted organization.
• Design and execute operational strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, accountability, and scalability.
• Champion process optimization projects and define performance metrics across diverse teams.
• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate high-achieving operational leadership teams.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to facilitate strategic growth plans and objectives.
• Manage readiness for expansion into new geographic regions and markets.
• Oversee vendor management, contract negotiations, and operational partnerships.
• Promote the integration of cutting-edge technologies and AI solutions to boost operational productivity.
• Develop KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and accountability protocols to measure business success.
• Ensure superior operational performance while nurturing a positive company culture and outstanding client service.
• Handle operational budgeting, forecasting, resource distribution, and profitability efforts.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Client Services, and Production departments.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of senior-level leadership experience in operations.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Proven track record in leading large, cross-departmental teams and executing organizational transformations.
• Experience with P&L management and financial leadership.
• Demonstrated success in scaling operations across multiple locations, business units, or territories.
• Familiarity with instituting operational processes, performance management systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve business operations.
• Preferred experience in industries such as events, experiential marketing, entertainment, production, hospitality, or other complex service environments.
