Role Summary

The Vice President of Operations serves as the highest-ranking operational executive responsible for the full spectrum of the global supply chain. Reporting to the CFO/COO, this position governs procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, quality assurance, supply and demand planning, and inventory management. The VP plays an integral role in ensuring robust infrastructure and operational excellence to support growth and scalability across all channels worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Murad's comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with business goals and international growth.
• Enhance operating models, KPIs, governance, and cross-functional collaboration emphasizing lean and technology-enabled processes.
• Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership and cross-brand stakeholders in operations matters.
• Transform the operations team into a lean, agile, and tech-savvy organization, focusing on efficiency and talent development.
• Oversee strategic procurement including raw materials, contract manufacturing, packaging, logistics, and indirect spending with a focus on Asian market localization.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations, cost reduction, and risk mitigation activities.
• Lead logistics and warehousing operations ensuring accuracy, service quality, cost management, and global fulfillment capabilities.
• Ensure order management excellence across diverse trade channels by streamlining processing and customer support.
• Direct quality assurance functions covering compliance, product safety, supplier quality, complaint management, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate supply planning to maintain product availability supporting launches and inventory objectives.
• Drive demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), enhancing forecast accuracy and executive decision-making.
• Govern inventory control processes focusing on optimization, accuracy, and financial reconciliation.
• Lead enterprise-wide transformation programs including system implementations, supply chain redesign, and operational governance enhancement.
• Collaborate with Unilever Prestige and global teams on shared capabilities and support for international expansion, especially in Asia.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional operations team fostering accountability, development, and high performance.

Additional Information

This hybrid position requires presence at the El Segundo, CA headquarters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with remote work for the remainder of the week unless otherwise needed. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected.
