Role Summary

We are searching for a driven Vice President of Finance to join our global team and contribute significantly to BlueThrone's growth trajectory. The VP Finance will oversee the entire financial operations of the company, becoming a key business partner and collaborator with founders and leadership to ensure decisions are backed by robust financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain consolidated financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts for the group.
• Analyze portfolio-level app metrics and translate them into actionable unit economics including lifetime value, payback periods, cohort profitability, and return on ad spend.
• Collaborate with founders and COO on optimal capital allocation across applications and acquisition prospects.
• Define and report performance indicators to evaluate financial model effectiveness.
• Lead financial underwriting, due diligence, and deal structuring to support acquisitions and negotiations.
• Manage post-acquisition financial integration processes.
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with banks and lenders, managing debt financing strategies.
• Handle investor relations, provide board reporting, and assist with future fundraising activities.
• Oversee global financial consolidation and reporting across multiple jurisdictions and entities.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow, collections, payments, internal controls, and signatory authority.
• Administer tax strategies and compliance matters including transfer pricing, VAT, withholding taxes, and cross-border structures.
• Ensure constant audit readiness and manage financial and legal reporting to regulatory authorities worldwide.
• Lead, develop, and expand the finance team remotely, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
• Extensive finance leadership experience within mobile apps, consumer subscriptions, or B2B tech subscription sectors.
• Expertise in financial planning & analysis and controlling across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of international financial and legal operations in multi-entity companies.
• Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Detail-focused and hands-on approach; prefers engaging directly in financial operations rather than delegating review only.
• Exceptional communication skills suited for a remote, globally distributed, asynchronous team environment.
• An innovative builder mentality, capable of establishing new processes and systems as needed.
• Legal background or experience is an advantage.
• Flexibility to coordinate with teams primarily across Asia and Europe time zones.

Communication & Reporting Lines

• Close collaboration with the CFO.
• Direct reporting relationship to the company founders.
• Partnership involvement with the COO.
• External engagement with investors, financial institutions, government agencies, and service providers.
