- Define and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational success.
- Conduct detailed financial underwriting and due diligence for potential acquisitions, including modelling deal structures and return projections to guide negotiations.
- Lead the financial integration process for acquired applications post-close.
- Manage relationships with banking institutions and lenders to structure, refinance, and oversee debt financing.
- Prepare investor board reports and assist with fundraising activities.
- Oversee global financial consolidation and reporting, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage cash flow, collections, payments, treasury functions, internal controls, and signatory authority.
- Oversee tax strategies and ensure adherence to transfer pricing, VAT, withholding tax, and international structuring regulations.
- Ensure ongoing audit readiness and maintain rigorous financial and legal reporting standards to all regulatory authorities.
- Direct and mentor the finance team, including a group controller and office manager, supporting team growth aligned with company scale.
- Foster a transparent, responsible, and collaborative company culture suitable for a remote and globally distributed organization.
Candidate Profile
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Demonstrated experience in mobile application markets, consumer subscription services, or technology-based B2B subscription businesses.
- Proven track record in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and controlling across multiple jurisdictions.
- Deep understanding of international business structures and legal-financial aspects of multi-entity operations.
- Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Highly detail-oriented and prefers a hands-on approach to financial management.
- Exceptional communication skills, especially in a remote, asynchronous international team environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong abilities to build financial systems and processes from the ground up.
- Legal education or experience is advantageous.
- Flexible availability to work with teams primarily across Asia and Europe time zones.
Communication & Reporting Lines
