Role Overview

The Vice President of Finance will serve as a pivotal business partner and financial leader, taking ownership of all financial operations including forecasting, financial planning, and capital allocation to support acquisitions and scaling efforts. This role involves working closely with founders and leadership to ensure data-driven decision-making and financial integrity throughout the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts at group level.
• Translate app portfolio metrics into actionable unit economics such as lifetime value, payback period, cohort profitability, and ROAS.
• Collaborate with founders and COO to determine optimal capital distribution and guide acquisition decisions.
• Identify and report key performance indicators reflecting financial health and operational success.
• Conduct thorough financial due diligence and underwriting for acquisition prospects.
• Prepare deal structure models and evaluate expected returns to aid negotiation and deal closure.
• Lead post-acquisition financial integration of newly acquired applications into the corporate group.
• Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and manage debt financing activities including structuring, refinancing, and repayment strategies.
• Oversee investor communications and board reporting, supporting future capital raising initiatives.
• Manage global financial consolidation and reporting processes across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Supervise cash flow management, payments, collections, treasury functions, financial controls, and authority delegation.
• Direct tax strategy, compliance, and reporting including transfer pricing, VAT, withholding taxes, and cross-border financial structuring.
• Ensure consistent adherence to audit requirements and maintain permanent audit readiness.
• Lead financial and legal financial reporting to local regulatory bodies worldwide.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of clarity, accountability, and collaboration in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
• Significant experience in finance roles within mobile apps, consumer subscription services, or B2B technology subscription sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial controlling across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Strong grasp of international operations, legal compliance, and multi-entity organizational structures.
• Expertise in building advanced financial models, forecasting methods, and strategic planning frameworks.
• Detail-oriented and hands-on with a readiness to engage deeply in financial execution rather than only oversight.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for remote and asynchronous global team collaboration.
• A proactive builder who can establish financial systems and processes from the ground up.
• Background in legal education or practical legal experience is considered a valuable advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours accommodating primarily Asia-Europe time zones.

Communication & Leadership

• Reports directly to the founders, working closely with the CFO and COO.
• Externally liaises with investors, banks, authorities, and service providers managing key stakeholder relationships.
