Role Overview
The Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner for Go-to-Market serves as the strategic HR leader supporting customer-facing channels and market execution. This role collaborates closely with the President of International Business and the Chief Customer & Marketing Officer to ensure that the company’s leadership, organizational capabilities, and talent are aligned to execute outstanding customer and market experiences globally.
The role involves partnering with leaders overseeing North America and International store and digital channels, as well as creative and marketing teams, to promote organizational effectiveness within a complex and interconnected ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive organizational effectiveness across customer-focused and commercial functions.
- Develop talent and workforce strategies aligning with growth in domestic and international markets.
- Enhance leadership capabilities across channel organizations.
- Build competencies that facilitate seamless omni-channel execution.
- Support business transformation initiatives and adapt to changing customer needs.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping and implementing business strategies through people and organizational solutions.
- Translate business objectives into impactful talent, organizational, and workforce strategies to boost performance and growth.
- Influence leadership teams on decisions related to organization structure, talent, and leadership.
- Promote collaboration by forging strong cross-functional partnerships for enterprise alignment.
Organizational Effectiveness
- Evaluate organizational health, effectiveness, structures, and operating models.
- Collaborate with leaders to enhance organizational performance, accountability, and working methodologies.
- Lead organization design and operating model decisions that align with business goals.
- Facilitate leadership effectiveness and foster cross-functional teamwork.
Talent & Leadership Development
- Steer talent planning, succession management, and leadership development efforts.
- Identify essential capabilities and create strategies to strengthen organizational leadership depth.
- Support leaders in building high-performing teams with a strong culture of accountability.
- Partner on executive coaching, leadership effectiveness, and performance management processes.
Culture & Change Management
- Promote the company’s Culture Code and leadership standards.
- Lead change initiatives and assist leaders through periods of transformation.
- Use employee feedback, workforce data, and business insights to guide people strategies.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated talent solutions.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is from $230,000 to $326,025 per year, varying based on skills, experience, location, and other relevant factors.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 15 years in progressively responsible HR leadership roles.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively with senior executives and leadership teams.
- Expertise in organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, succession planning, and leading change initiatives.
- Strong business insight with the ability to align people strategies to business outcomes.
- Exceptional skills in executive presence, influencing, facilitation, and coaching.
- Competency in managing complexity and aligning enterprise priorities with business-specific requirements.
- Preferred experience in retail, consumer sectors, multi-brand environments, or customer-centric businesses.
- Experience supporting consumer-facing client groups is a plus.
