Role Summary

The Vice President of Operations delivers executive oversight for all production and administrative functions within Protech and assigned regions. This executive role transforms corporate strategies into actionable plans, sets standards for operational efficiency, growth, performance excellence, and outstanding customer service.

Primary Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership for implementing Protech’s overall operational growth and management plans.
  • Translate organizational goals into clear operational objectives with measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to developing the company’s structure, operational model, new services, and business development initiatives.
  • Identify improvements to enhance operational capacity, efficiency, service quality, profitability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate market opportunities and required resources for expansion.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitors, customer needs, and market conditions.
  • Ensure all locations and mobile units are fully staffed, equipped, and operational, with strong leadership and resources.
  • Standardize procedures and operating practices across the company while allowing regional flexibility where suitable.
  • Assess workflows to drive productivity, quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction improvements.
  • Develop operational plans for new locations, mobile units, and service or client programs supporting growth.
  • Set performance targets and metrics for teams, locations, and territories, monitoring through dashboards, reports, financials, and feedback.
  • Drive a culture of accountability by conducting reviews, coaching, and corrective actions with clear ownership and timelines.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, identify leadership needs, develop succession plans, and foster leadership growth and retention.
  • Promote exceptional customer service, manage client relationships, resolve concerns promptly, and build industry partnerships.
  • Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, safety, policies, and quality standards.
  • Serve as a senior leader contributing to corporate planning, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Achievement of targets for territories, sites, and mobile units.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, or related field; advanced degrees preferred or equivalent senior experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years in progressively senior operations roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership managing multi-site or regional operations.
  • Proven success in driving operational growth, performance improvement, and managing organizational change.
  • Experience defining performance metrics and utilizing operational and financial data for decision-making.
  • Strong capability in recruiting, coaching, and developing leadership talent.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with customers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Competence in budgeting, resource planning, process improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Capacity and willingness to travel frequently as required.

Working Conditions

The role operates across office, production sites, mobile units, customer, and client venues. It involves sitting, standing, walking, computer use, meetings, and travel by car or air.
