Position Overview

We are seeking a President to spearhead the company's next phase of growth, leadership development, and operational excellence, while preserving the creative spirit integral to its success. Partnering closely with the Founder, Vice Presidents of Operations, Creative & Design, and Sales, this leader will drive long-term business performance ensuring continued relevance and growth in the live event production industry.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to position the company as a premier player.
Develop and nurture strategic partnerships, venues, innovative service offerings, and growth channels that support sustainable success.
Champion continuous business evolution to enhance strategy, client satisfaction, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate with the Founder to uphold the brand's culture, creative standards, and reputation during growth.
Lead the Executive Leadership Team, promoting ownership, accountability, and alignment on shared priorities.
Support operational excellence and client experience with the VP of Operations.
Partner with the VP of Creative & Design to ensure creativity and innovation remain central to company efforts.
Balance growth, operational capacity, staffing, and financials to deliver exceptional and profitable experiences.
Make informed decisions on significant business challenges, investments, and priorities.
Drive investments in business systems, technology, and production innovation to improve efficiency and client experience.
Promote a culture emphasizing safety, discipline, and thoughtful risk management.
Oversee company financial health including revenue, profitability, cash flow, and forecasting.
Work closely with the Founder to translate vision into strategic objectives and measurable results.
Design organizational structures, leadership models, and succession plans to support growth and reduce overdependence on individuals.
Maintain close coordination among Sales, Creative & Design, and Operations to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
Build and sustain relationships with key clients, venues, partners, and industry leaders as a brand ambassador.
Continuously enhance client acquisition and retention processes to improve the overall client journey.

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience successfully leading and expanding a production or event industry business.
Strong financial acumen covering budgeting, profitability analysis, forecasting, and overall business performance.
Exceptional leadership abilities promoting trust, talent development, accountability, and a positive company culture.
History of implementing efficiencies, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong client partnerships.
A deep appreciation for balancing creative quality with commercial success in a design-led environment.
Background in events, live production, theater, experiential marketing, hospitality, or design-focused firms.

Work Environment and Compensation

This role requires onsite presence five days a week initially, with optional flexible arrangements available after the first year. Compensation is competitive within the range of $250,000 to $300,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. The employer is open to creative compensation models aligned with candidate experience.
