Vice President, General Industrials

Position Summary

As a Vice President in the investment banking division, you will play a pivotal role in driving transaction execution and delivering financial advisory services to clients across Australia. This role presents the chance to engage in significant deals, foster essential client relationships, and contribute to the expansion and success of the investment banking practice within the region.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with high-caliber bankers across General Industrials and Financial Sponsors sectors, gaining exceptional learning experience.
• Partner with senior colleagues in deal sourcing, structuring, and negotiation processes.
• Lead execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and various financial transactions.
• Perform thorough financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to underpin transaction activities.
• Create compelling presentation materials and actively participate in client engagements.
• Expand professional network through hands-on transaction experience and contribution to origination efforts.
• Support the team in delivering comprehensive solutions utilizing the full suite of bank capabilities.
• Oversee daily activities of junior bankers focused on marketing and execution functions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
• At least six years of pertinent experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or similar sectors.
• Highly motivated, detail-conscious, proactive, with outstanding analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in mergers and acquisitions with a successful track record of managing transaction executions.
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective interaction with clients and management teams.
