About the Role
The Capital Markets Transformation team at RBC works in close partnership with business, functional units, and technology across the organization to drive and implement major change initiatives. This position plays a strategic role in facilitating business transformation and maintaining regulatory compliance, which are essential to the sustained success of RBC Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with Business, Functional teams, and across RBC segments to ensure effective project delivery.
- Lead cross-functional working groups to achieve project goals, manage issues, and ensure steady progress.
- Prepare materials for senior leadership forums, including Steering Committee and Executive Committee meetings, as well as routine program updates.
- Support comprehensive program status reporting at both program and executive levels to keep all teams aligned on objectives.
- Maintain detailed project plans and ensure task completion aligns with milestones.
- Facilitate resolution of issues and escalations, manage project interdependencies, and keep the RAID log accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and consultants to meet program objectives.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
- MBA or a relevant professional certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in program management with proven leadership, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Experience working on substantial regulatory programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Capital Markets products, services, and operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, project managers, and team members.
- Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, lookups), PowerPoint (executive storytelling), and Visio (process mapping).
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous and evolving environments.
- A strong eagerness to learn continuously.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.

Additional Details
Location: Royal Bank Plaza, 200 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Workweek is 37.5 hours. Employment status is full-time and salaried.
Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 annually depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Discretionary variable compensation is also available based on business performance and individual achievements.
