Trade Drive Thru Leader at Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga

Position Overview

Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga is looking for a driven and experienced leader to manage our Trade Drive Thru operations. This full-time position involves working 40 hours weekly, including a weekend day. The role entails collaborating closely with store management to ensure smooth daily operations, leading a motivated team, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service while aligning with company priorities.
• Possess or develop strong leadership to manage team performance and motivation.
• Manage budgets and supervise inventory processes effectively.
• Promote and uphold health and safety standards within the workplace.
• Oversee order fulfillment and maintain accurate stock control.
• Lead team development, training, and succession planning, including Duty Management duties.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience in leadership roles within fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of DIY, power tools, timber, and building materials is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Valid full New Zealand Class 1 driver’s license; forklift license is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining health and safety compliance.
