TM Civil - Execution (Birla Trimaya)

Role Overview

This temporary, on-site role with Aditya Birla Group is focused on civil execution for the Birla Trimaya project in Karnataka. The position centers on planning, site readiness, execution control, compliance monitoring, safety coordination, and handover support.

Project Planning and Mobilization

You will identify possible delays in mobilization by comparing site survey findings with liaison survey records and resolving mismatches early. The role also involves arranging and completing preparatory work such as a temporary boundary wall, security office, project office, and utility setup for water and electricity.

Execution and Site Control

You will check that the site layout aligns with the GFC (Good For Construction) drawings and work with the PMC and contractor to correct any differences raised by the architect. All site activities must stay aligned with approved GFC drawings. You will also support preparation of the baseline schedule with the contractor and Site Manager, ensure resources are in place before work starts, and review contractor organization charts to confirm that staffing and resource deployment match project needs.

Quality, Compliance, and Documentation

The role requires maintaining the compliance register and related supporting records. You will monitor permissions and licenses that are nearing expiry and alert the RO in advance. If any specification change is needed from the architect, you will raise the RFI and work to close it promptly.

Safety Management

You will coordinate safety training for the PMC team, contractors, and site personnel, ensure that safety equipment is available on site, and keep an active safety checklist for regular use and follow-up.

Handover and Defect Management

At handover, you will track customizations and ensure the contractor clears snags so the site is handed over with minimal outstanding issues. You will also support CRM with the information needed to finalize Facility Management services and work with the FM team during the defect liability period to close complaints and rectify issues.

Monitoring and Stakeholder Coordination

You will keep daily progress aligned with the weekly plan, highlight deviations quickly, and ensure corrective action is taken without delay.
