Overview
This role is based at Swansea Civil Justice Centre, located at Caravella House, Quay West, Quay Parade, Swansea SA1 1SP. As a Team Leader within HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS), you will play a pivotal role in delivering justice by overseeing your team's performance, ensuring they provide exceptional administrative and customer service support to service users, judiciary, and management.

Role Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you will drive strong performance within your team, managing attendance and promoting recognition and rewards. Key duties include motivating your team, managing workloads against local, regional, and national priorities, fostering overall team wellbeing, and building effective working relationships with stakeholders including judiciary.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to lead and develop staff, enhancing their confidence and capabilities to excel in their roles.
- Robust organizational skills to prioritize, plan, allocate, and manage workloads for excellent service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills for establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to handle difficult situations and resolve issues professionally and swiftly.
- Competency in data analysis to support informed decisions for improving and sustaining performance.
- Proficiency with IT and adaptability to learn new systems.

Additional Training and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undergo Fire and Incident Control Officer training (FICO) and may serve as Senior Person on Site (SPOS) when required. Building Champion training will also be provided, with potential assistance in related duties.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and in the Civil Service. This role does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship if applying for the first time from 22 July 2025. Ongoing sponsorship eligibility depends on continuous Skilled Worker visa status prior to that date. Candidates should assess their eligibility and rights to live and work in the UK accordingly.
