About the role
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Paint Department Team Member at Mitre 10 MEGA Takanini. The position is customer-facing and suited to someone who enjoys DIY, colour, and helping people choose the right products to complete their projects.
You will support customers with paint selection, share product knowledge, help grow sales, manage stock levels, and keep the department clean, safe, and visually appealing.
Key duties
- Help customers choose suitable paint and related products for their projects
- Offer practical product guidance and advice in a friendly, confident manner
- Support sales by identifying customer needs and recommending solutions
- Maintain stock presentation and visual merchandising standards
- Contribute to a safe, tidy, and well-organised department
- Work closely with the wider team to deliver excellent service
