About the Role
Join our expanding Nairobi team as a Student Counsellor specializing in international education guidance. This role involves assisting students through every step, from their initial inquiries to their departure for studies abroad.
We are an international education advisory organization with 11 offices spanning Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, and the UK, collaborating with over 70 partner universities worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide students with tailored advice on study destinations, courses, and university selection.
- Oversee the entire application process from initial enquiry through to securing admission.
- Assist students with visa paperwork and organize pre-departure preparations.
- Represent the organization at educational fairs, school visits, and information sessions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and student networks throughout Nairobi.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a study abroad or overseas education counsellor, or roles in university admissions, student support, or education sales.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Residency in Nairobi is essential.
- Knowledge of admissions and visa procedures for UK, Europe, Canada, or Australia is advantageous.
- Ability to confidently engage and present to groups comprising students, parents, and educational institutions.
