Preferred qualifications

- Background in researching consumer behavior, market participants, and industry developments to keep offerings current and relevant.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain contractual, technical, financial, and value-related points to partners and internal teams.
- Proven strategic advisory and analytical abilities when working with senior internal and external stakeholders, including experience in business development, project management, program management, or product management.
- Strong attention to detail, along with a creative, open-minded, persistent, and collaborative approach to Google products.
Role overview
You will act as a key strategic advisor for YouTube’s media company relationships, helping guide partner growth and strengthen commercial ties. The work requires a solid grasp of the media and entertainment market, especially how YouTube contributes to its evolution. You will build long-term relationships, identify opportunities for mutual growth, and support partner success through cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain commercial and strategic relationships with major partners across TV, movies, and sports, while improving their performance on YouTube through greater reach, watch time, and engagement.
- Link partners with internal opportunities such as product launches, content funding programs, and cTV-related initiatives.
- Set partner goals and drive alignment with teams across Marketing, Operations, Sales, and other functions.
- Track and communicate performance across verticals and sub-verticals, while spotting patterns and opportunities within audience segments.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for the media and entertainment sector, staying current on market shifts, competitive activity, and trends affecting cTV audiences.
