About the Role
Google is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join its Large Customer Sales team, focusing on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) clients. This role involves leveraging Google's comprehensive advertising solutions to drive business growth for leading brands, navigating dynamic marketing trends, and delivering innovative strategies in an AI-driven advertising landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of CPG clients, establishing and nurturing strong relationships to drive industry thought leadership and scale best practices.
- Engage closely with executive-level clients, direct advertisers specific to the industry, and pertinent agency contacts.
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the business imperatives of CPG advertisers, including insights into consumer behavior patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to address client business challenges and capitalize on industry shifts, especially in transitioning from traditional TV advertising.
- Drive business outcomes for clients by proposing digital advertising solutions across Google's platforms such as Search, YouTube, and Measurement.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or a minimum of 6 years if possessing an advanced degree.
- Proven track record working with advertisers, agencies, or direct clients.
- Preferred expertise includes developing trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives and managing multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of Google's Ad Solutions, with a particular emphasis on video advertising technologies including AI-powered performance tools, Video, and Connected TV (CTV).
- The ability to creatively sell technology solutions across diverse decision-maker groups.
- Demonstrated aptitude for crafting joint business plans in complex and ambiguous environments, and influencing internal and external teams to achieve customer and company goals.
- Strong tactical and systems thinking capabilities, aligning strategies to meet client business objectives.
