Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join their Market Access team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for building and maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders, primarily payers, to ensure the successful implementation of access strategies for the company's product portfolio. The goal is to maximize both short-term and long-term business objectives by ensuring product positioning, accessibility, and market penetration.
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to cultivate and sustain robust business partnerships with key stakeholders and payers. This involves ensuring the comprehensive access strategies for J&J's products are effectively implemented, covering aspects like indication, positioning, and overall accessibility, thereby maximizing short-term and long-term business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the complete accessibility of JNJ products within all designated accounts according to planned timelines, collaborating with internal and external parties.
- Establish and nurture strong, enduring business relationships with key stakeholders across all assigned accounts at the regional level.
- Optimize JNJ's market share in all tender processes and effectively defend our position against competitors and generic alternatives.
- Oversee timely deliveries to the Central Medical Stores (CMS), closely monitoring demand and supply dynamics.
- Develop a clear, strategic account action plan, aligned with the Business Unit Leader (BUL), utilizing a strategic partnership planning methodology.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at the account level, with attention to reasonable expiry dates.
- Maintain comprehensive coverage of the assigned territory in Saudi Arabia, engaging with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), procurement personnel, Pharmacy and Therapeutics (PTC) committees, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Drive the inclusion of products in formularies within the assigned accounts to expedite medication access and reimbursement.
- Manage the creation and renewal of coding, as well as overall tender management processes.
- Act as a liaison between sales teams, local agents, and CMS by participating in Commercial Value Team (CVT) meetings, ensuring strategic execution alignment.
- Ensure the implementation of tactical marketing plans aligns with the local business strategy and adheres to agreed-upon budgets.
